Dodge Chargers earns award for value

One of the hardest thing for a vehicle to do is to retain value for resale. Many factors go into a car holding its value, and those factors are used to determine which vehicles are the best value. For the fourth year in a row, the Dodge Charger earned the ALG Residual Value Award. In its award, ALG said the Charger's powerful and efficient V6 engine and all-wheel drive capability for a four-door sports sedan.

"Striking a delicate balance between traditional sedan and muscle car, the Dodge Charger represents the shifting trends in the full-size segment," said Jim Nguyen, President of ALG. "A wide range of powertrain and comfort features ensures there is a perfect Charger for every personality. High performance teams up with high value as the Dodge Charger lands its fourth consecutive RVA."

The Charger comes with a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 292 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Also available is a 5.7-liter V8 with 370 horsepower and 395 pound-feet of torque and a 6.4-liter V8 with a 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque. All engine sizes are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission with manual shifting mode.
