We're excited to let our Santa Monica Jeep fans know that 2018 will bring an exciting, all-new Jeep Compass that you're sure to love. The Jeep Compass has been a favorite of Jeep enthusiasts for offering everything they love about Jeep in a smaller package and with a more manageable price tag. With 4x4 capabilities and even the Trailhawk Edition with advanced four-wheel drive features, the 2018 Jeep Compass is the perfect choice for Marina Del Ray, Playa Vista, Malibu, and West Hollywood drivers who crave legendary four-wheel-drive performance,and great value.
What's New for 2018?
The new 2018 Jeep Compass will sport a newly redesigned exterior that takes its cues from the Jeep Grand Cherokee; the new model boasts a restyled grille, and the body is slightly longer than the former design which offers more interior space and cargo room. Four trims will be offered including the Sport, Latitude, Limited, and Trailhawk; only the Trailhawk is Trail Rated, but the other models can be outfitted with 4x4 capabilities. Jeep Active Drive (AWD) is available on all models, while the Trailhawk will only offer the Jeep Active Drive Low system (standard). A new structural design, as well as frame-under-glass door construction seals and acoustic wheel well liners, create a quieter, more insulated cabin.
The new base model 2018 Jeep Compass Sport will build upon the offerings from the previous year's model, adding push button start, tilt/telescoping steering wheel, and a rearview camera. Moving through the different trims will earn you more standard and available creature comforts including a power lift gate, heated steering wheel, and dual-zone automatic temperature control with a humidity sensor. Technology features abound such as the newest generation of the UConnect infotainment system, which will offer an available 8.4-inch touchscreen in addition to the five- and seven-inch screens, and will include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You'll also find available advanced safety features such as blind spot monitoring, forward collision warning, and so much more.
